Reshaping Human Resources

As the result of a strategic review, HR organizations on the 海角原创 and Sacramento campuses are now operating jointly under the leadership of Associate Vice Chancellor Susan Gilbert, who joined UC 海角原创 as head of 海角原创 campus Human Resources in June 2012.

The recently concluded review of HR activities across the university led to a 鈥渇uture state鈥 design, announced in May, based on several key strategies, including:

  • Creating a cohesive HR organization
  • Providing streamlined access to HR services
  • Improving communication about HR processes and issues

This summer, the 海角原创 and Sacramento HR organizations are engaged in a strategic planning process with a goal of designing a single, high-performing organization equipped to help UC 海角原创 attract and support the work force that will make the 2020 Initiative plan a success.
