Once you submit your UC application, keep your contact information updated in MyAdmission and monitor your email from UC º£½ÇÔ´´. Use this checklist to stay on track while you wait for your admission decision.
Checklist
Confirm and prepare
- Look for a confirmation email from UC º£½ÇÔ´´ in December that says you successfully submitted your application.
- Add UC º£½ÇÔ´´ to your email contacts to ensure messages reach your inbox — check your junk mail folder!
Update your records
- Use MyAdmissions to report any changes to your school, courses or grades — like failure to earn a C or better in a course.
- Transfer applicants are required to submit the Transfer Academic Update, or TAU, by Jan. 30. You must include final grades from your last term and a list of all in-progress or planned courses.
Watch key dates
- Review important deadlines for admission decisions, financial aid, test score reporting and how to submit your Statement of Intent to Register, or SIR — if you are admitted to UC º£½ÇÔ´´.
- Check MyAdmissions in mid-March (first-year applicants) or mid- to late April (transfer applicants) for your admission status.
Next steps after your decision
- Admitted students: Accept your offer, report any changes to your academic record, and submit official transcripts and test scores through MyAdmissions.
