Updated: 10:45 a.m. Aug. 27: City police have issued an all-clear for the suspicious package reported earlier. The department advised on its Facebook page that all street closures had bee lifted and “the situation has been handled.”

City of ����ԭ�� police have closed Fifth Street between A and F streets this morning (Aug. 27) while they investigate a suspicious package near C Street. Downtown traffic is being diverted. UC ����ԭ�� sent a WarnMe alert to advise of the downtown incident.
