Get out your cameras. The City of º£½ÇÔ´´ is holding a photo contest and you are invited to enter your best images of º£½ÇÔ´´.
Entrants are invited to capture what is special about the community. Photos can be representative of º£½ÇÔ´´ history, community life, open space, recreation, arts, culture, or anything that embodies the spirit of what living in º£½ÇÔ´´ means.
Age Groups: 6-12; 13-17; 18 and over
Accepting submissions: through March 30
What makes a photograph a winner? Technical quality, clarity and composition are all important, but so is a flair for the unexpected and the ability to capture a picture-perfect moment.
Contest entries will be judged on overall quality, creativity and how well the photograph portrays the City of º£½ÇÔ´´. The contest is open to all photographers. (º£½ÇÔ´´ city employees and their families are not eligible to enter). Parental consent for minors in the 6 – 12 category is required to participate in the contest.
Category winners will be recognized at a City of º£½ÇÔ´´ Council meeting. All submissions may be used in future City of º£½ÇÔ´´ marketing and promotional materials as well as displayed on the City of º£½ÇÔ´´ website.
