My family and I thank the community for the outpouring of condolences following the passing of my mother, Gloria Hunter May, on May 21. Your compassion and kindness have helped ease the burden of our loss.

I鈥檓 still reflecting on her impact on me and many others. In difficult times, I remember that she expressed how proud she was of me, of who I became, and of the daughters LeShelle and I raised.
