UC ��ԭ�� bids farewell to a distinguished group of faculty and staff who have dedicated decades of service to the university and have left lasting impacts on their departments and the campus community. Congratulations to all, and thank you for your service to UC ��ԭ��.

In summers past, the hundreds of people listed in this article would be right here with us, caught up in the hustle and bustle of preparing for a new academic year. But this year they have something else on their minds: their new lives as retirees!

They are academics and staff members from the ��ԭ�� and Sacramento campuses, 558 people in all who retired during the 2017-18 academic year.

Nearly 200 of them turned out for the New Retirees Reception, presented annually by the Retiree Center in conjunction with the Emeriti and Retirees associations.

RETIREE FALL FEST

The UC ��ԭ�� Retirees Association and the UC ��ԭ�� Emeriti Association will hold their annual Fall Fest, Saturday, Sept. 23. The event will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the University Retirement Community, 1515 Shasta Drive, ��ԭ��, with barbecue dinner provided by the University Retirement Community kitchens.
